Hello all, my name is Adam Lepp and in May 2010, I graduated from South Dakota State University with a computer science degree. However, before I could make it to the computer industry, God moved me to start work with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (http://intervarsitybemidji.org) doing college campus ministry. I was a part of the InterVarsity Chapter at South Dakota State University for more than four years, serving two of those years on the student leadership team. I am now located in Bemidji, MN working with the IV chapter at Bemidji State University.
Working with college kids is a blast and there is nothing I’d rather be doing for a career. When I’m not working, I spend my time hanging out with people (I’m super extroverted), making websites, and occasionally updating this blog.
How did I get here?
About 4 and a half years ago, I discovered that my life was missing something. Shortly after that, I discovered what that was. I had grown up in a Christian home, and learned all about God and Jesus and what not, but I guess I never really “got it”. God, to me, was just some deity out there somewhere. Well, to keep my story short (read my blog for the long version), I started to let Jesus into my life.
It was messy. There was the ugly breakup with my ex-girlfriend, the broken trust with those closest to me, not to mention the destruction and pain I caused others. But I managed to accept the love Christ had for me, to let Him be my Lord and King.
Well let me tell you, it’s been an interesting journey since. Sometimes it’s been rough – even impossible at times, but it’s been worth every minute.
And I think that is the point of this blog. I want to tell the world about this guy who loves me more than anything I have ever known before. I’ll keep you update whats going on in my life, my strugles, my challenges, when I’m rejoicing.
